A love letter to our city, our artists, and what’s coming next

Nine years ago, Couch Sessions started with a simple idea:

bring people together, in fresh spaces, around music and art.

Since then, something incredible has happened.

We’ve hosted some of our community’s greatest artists.

We’ve transformed spaces all over our city from shoe stores to warehouses to iconic venues, into living rooms filled with creativity.

We took something intimate and turned it into a movement.

And now…

2026 marks our 9th season.

That’s nine years of believing in local voices.

Nine years of building a home for artists.

Nine years of proving that when you invest in community, magic follows.

This season feels different, in the best way.

We’re stepping into 2026 with:

• New sponsors who believe in what we’re building

• New resources that let us elevate the experience

• New opportunities for our artists

• And some big announcements about the future of Couch Sessions that we can’t wait to share

What will never change is the heart:

art, songs, stories, and a room full of people who care.

This season, we’re pulling back the curtain and bringing you along for the journey the planning, the growth, the challenges, the wins…… all of it!
