Grant application should be completed 30 days prior to event.

The Ocala Municipal Arts Commission (OMAC) offers mini-grants to support local artists and nonprofit arts organizations in Marion County. Eligible applicants must have at least one year of residency or service in the community and present projects that promote the arts. Applications must be submitted at least two weeks before a quarterly meeting to be included on the public agenda.

The MCA Cultural Grant provides direct funding to nonprofit arts organizations in Ocala/Marion County to support programs, equipment, and initiatives across all artistic disciplines. Funded through the Cultural Endowment Fund, the grant is awarded annually and has supported over 135 arts initiatives, benefiting thousands in the community.

The Four Friends Grant Fund, established by Marion Cultural Alliance, provides small grants of up to $1,500 to individual artists and arts educators in Ocala/Marion County. Created in honor of four influential community leaders, the fund supports creative growth and encourages artists with financial assistance for their work and development.

The C.A.R.E. (Communities Are the Responsibility of Everyone) program by Ocala Electric Utility supports local nonprofits through funding and employee involvement. It focuses on initiatives that promote public health, safety, education, the environment, economic development, and youth programs. Funding is limited and competitive, with a maximum of $1,000 per program.
