Biography

Diane is a Central Florida-based artist with roots in small-town 1970s Texas, where a childhood of outdoor adventures planted the seeds of creativity. A graduate of Sam Houston State University with a BA in Photography and a minor in Studio Art, she has long been drawn to photographic manipulation, collage, and alternative processes. Her career spans decades of artistic exploration, community involvement, and arts advocacy, including roles with Marion Cultural Alliance and the founding of NOMA Gallery. Following a stroke and a pandemic-driven creative resurgence, Diane now channels her passion into her work as an Arts Practitioner with Arts in Health Ocala Metro. Known for her vibrant spirit and commitment to art as a way of life, Diane continues to create daily, dream boldly, and advocate for a more colorful, compassionate world.
